The questions people actually have.
A clear, well-lit shot of their face, taken straight on — the kind of photo you'd already send to a mate. Bright daylight or a well-lit room beats flash. Avoid sunglasses, hats pulled low, heavy shadow across the face, and group shots where they're small in the frame. A normal phone photo is plenty; you don't need a proper camera. We cut the background out for you.
